小学阅读理解之我的孩子不明白篇章在说什么？
小学的华文篇章其实多数并不是很难懂得，问题是学生需要三大能力才能破解文章内容：-
1）熟读小一到小六课文的所有词接下来就是汇、成语及虚词（词语熟悉能力）
一篇理解篇章通常不会乱出词语，因为许多老师在出题时多遵照“没交的内容不出考题”的不成文原则。所以许多考卷的词汇多是学生平常读到的。因此熟读每年课文中的200-300个识读字和识写字是学生的基本功。没有良好的基本功就应该用读字卡的方法，把所有的字词背熟。其他的方法包括朗读听写（就是先朗读、明白词义，然后听写）或背句子（就是把词语全部写成句子，然后背句子，听写/默写）
2）过了词语关，接下来就是多读好作文
作文必须是17/20以上的作文，这样才能学到好词好句和明白多数佳句的意义。不过不必多，只要把作文倒背如流就好了。背作文的重点是从一句一段开始背诵。然后一段一段地背诵。记得必须朗读作文，才开始默写才有用，不然学生还是没有读进脑里，也是徒然。
如何证明学生把作文读进脑里呢？让学生写一篇作文，而且作文必须是靠近第一篇或第二篇作文。只要学生能运用新学到的词语就证明背作文起作用了。
3）每天写一段。
心情描写、人物描写、物品描写、性格描写、行为描写等等要天天写，天天复习。一旦看见好词佳句，就要拿来练习、复习，用功自然会增长描写的功夫。

PSLE CL 2017 Part 1 Oral Video
Next year, MOE will bring the change of PSLE Chinese format in place.
Video in Oral vs Picture Oral and picture description+opinion vs 3 open-ended questions style oral
This year, MOE has test run the Video Oral programme in Secondary and Primary schools and using ICT to conduct Oral is a huge step to streamline PSLE examination ICT involvement.
Ok the main change in Oral format is the usage of Video to stimulate thinking and speaking. Video makes objects 3 Demensional, real time and that should helped pupils think it is easier. Well you have to think twice as there is a lot of details in the video that you have to pause and watch, most pupil missed the point the go ahead anyway, to get trapped in the their egoistic mind. Yes you cannot just watch the video once and be confidence of taking the examinations. There are more than meets the eyes details in the video that is missed by the untrained eyes.
3 Details often missed by pupils:-
1) The moral of the video is always in the narrative at the first 5 seconds of the video, you want to make sure you truly understands this narrative. pupil always need to remember at least 3 things that happened in the video.
2) The 3 main questions are almost asked in order but the questions asked may varied according to the teacher asking and the pupil taking the examination.
3) The highest mark goes to the pupil who is familiar to the words and phrases used in that kind of situations in the video and most will require pupil's to be able to tell a story that had happened in his life which could be fabricated.
